We are a Zambia based company established to serve the Zambian market and cross borders with healthy farm produce witth integrity and profession. We have taken keen interest in our economies natural resource and create employment and food for our people. All our products are farm produce and undergo strict processing ensuring our clients needs are met and exceeded. Our Company
Our company is a Zambian based enterprise owned by Mr. Mwilah Chaloba, a young business man, with a rich logistics, procurement & supply chain background. the company was formerly registered this year 2015 and has started operations across the country with farm locations in Lusaka's 15 and 20 miles, in Chipata and plans of having a farm in the Southern part of the country is underway. Our Sole business is into agricultural farm produce processing, packaing, and supplying to various customers locally and cross borders. We are yet to set-up our own processing plant in Chingola, on the copperbelt province of Zambia as our processing head office.
Strategy
Sustainable Agricultural food, processing and supply value chains in Africa often suffer from lack of scale or from operational bottlenecks. To overcome these barriers, our strategy is to connect and integrate at different stages of the value chain, in which the meat sector plays an important role.
Safety
Working with food products and processing machinery requires that we put safety first at all times. Health and Safety is a priority in our company operations and we want to regularly keep our staff updated on safety information and training. We have a health and safety department, along with the management team in our operations that keep control of implementing a comprehensive, proactive safety campaign in each operational location. All staff members now receive a full safety and quality induction and are proactively trained on a regular basis about behaviours that put safety first.
Environment & Sustainability
We at AgriProc believe that building a sustainable world is solely dependant on the conservation of our natural and healthy environment in our various operational locations. We have in place a system that sees to it that we minimise waste and promote greener energy sources as such as solar and biofuels. In addition we are promoting in all our development operations the reduction/mitigation of environmental impacts in our locations through taking EIA frequently to assess the impacts likely caused by our operations and take measures thereof to improve our production and processing system to a more environmentally friendly.
